From friends and the wider community

– “So sorry Chris, saw your msg very late as we went to bed early this morning.
“Not to mention my brother, so proud of you. You pulled out a function befitting of Delaine and the way he lived his short life. Even though I did not have a chance to know him, I have known a million of things that he was. My sister in Worcester saw memorial on Facebook, she told me she cried and wanted to know what happened to this vibrant boy. I told her that is God’s way. We are all hurting, however I would like to let you know that the bigger picture is not what we see on this earth plain but that he is in a better place and I think in another place he has the position of a King. He came and saved his purpose and went back to take his price. May our dear Lord comfort you and your wife.”

– “Joseph Foroma: Final total from yesterday fundraiser is £1121.85 in cash and there is another £700 to come from the auction of the holiday prize. Some pledges are also likely to come in. Amazing yes is the word for it. Glory Be!”

– “Thank you Chris. It was good to be there. The service was lovely and the party very enjoyable. You both are doing a lovely job for Delaine. God bless you and your lovely family.”

– “Flossy Jemwa Kandodo: Priceless photos. You can see so much went into this.“

“A pleasure to help out doing an easy job. Well done to you your family and all the committee for all your hard work and preparation in making it a lovely celebration. Delaine would be very proud of you all. God bless Dan Carla Olivia n Tom x

– “Aaaaaw! Lovely!!! That was wonderful considering that this wasn’t rehearsed. Your God-Daughter said, “I was so touched by the Speech my Godfather gave. From the entrance song to the speech itself, that was moving, it left me emotional”. It’s sad I missed that part. Please share with me whenever possible. May Delaine’s Soul continue to Rest in Eternal Peace. “

“The Mass was well organised, memorable. I was touched by the participation of children reading intercessions. The atmosphere at the hall was celebratory. You and your wife have lived up to your calling to be witnesses in spite of tragedy. The Lord is doubly pleased by your witness which leads so many to admiration and adoration of the God we worship. Rev P Rabvukwa”

A pleasure to help out doing an easy job. Well done to you your family and all the committee for all your hard work and preparation in making it a lovely celebration. Delaine would be very proud of you all. God bless. Dan Carla Olivia n Tom x”
