An interview with Beryl:
I met Beryl on sunny Sunday May afternoon in Birmingham.Beryl is interested helping Leicester as city especially the Anti Knife campaign.He is organising a football tournament on June 16th 2019 to bring awareness to the current status of knife crimes in Leicester.
Beryl was born in Congo and has always loved football.He was signed in 2013 by Birmingham City Football club and Birmingham has become his second home.
He trains for six days and plays three games a week.He is discplined in his training and nutrition and his personal mantra is “its up to me”.
He is also interested in fashion,collaborating with a partner to produce Badu python leather bags and t-shirts which can be purchased online.
Outside of football he listens to Drake and his idols include Martin Luther King.
The Anti knife campaign will be a joint venture with DTM foundation .It will bring awareness to DTM Foundation charity and fund raising efforts for cancer patients and children in need.The event will be at Wakerley Sunday June 16th from 11:am to 5pm in Leicester.All are invited to enjoy a fun day out with football barbecue music and raise funds for the charity and bring awareness of the knife crimes in Leicster.
